That’s me, the one who doesn’t drink.
I am a portrait and wedding photographer based in Bampton, Devon, and I've been on this professional adventure for nearly 15 years, capturing wonderful stories in beautiful locations between the UK and the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
As the years went by, I came to realise that on their wedding day, couples spend more time with us, the photographers, than with any other vendor on their wedding day, so it is essential to appreciate our work, get along with us, share similar ideas, and ensure pertinence doesn’t run out.
I am the photographer who prioritises building a relationship with clients above all. Although not a bulletproof theory, I believe it is the only way captured emotions look and feel genuine. My creative approach is very simple, basic one might say. It all starts with an empty mind, creatively I rarely plan anything and everything is a reaction to my couple’s character.
Yes, I know; everybody is' “scared” of the camera, aka “camera shy”! I am too, so I relate – but it’s my job to put your mind at your ease.
No, I am not a psychologist; I just turn into a bit of a clown, make stupid, sometimes inappropriate jokes and tank along. Hey, as long as I get the reactions and emotions that you love, who cares!
